Ladybug Cake

Early last month, a friend's friend asked if I could make a cake for her daughter's soccer team. She specifically requested a ladybug cake. How cute is that? Of course I said yes!

I thought of making a whole ladybug cake...but figured might not be enough to feed everyone. So, I decided to make a quarter sheet cake with 6 ladybugs, representing the 6 girls in the team. My husband had commented that he hoped there isn't ANY boys in the team! :P

L was such an easy "customer." She left it to me to decide EVERYTHING. So I picked a yellow cake with chocolate butter cream filling. I had so much fun making them! :D
