Drip, drip, drip...

We used to make our coffee in a french press...but after breaking 2 of them, we haven't got around getting the 3rd one. So in the mean time, we're using the coffee maker, which takes up A LOT OF SPACE! However, Lucas finds it very interesting (Yesmin was there just because HE wanted to watch...unfortunately, she's not as excited about the kitchen as he is)! He has been wanting to see the coffee drip, but since we always make the coffee before he wakes up, he never gets to see the process. Finally, on Monday (it was MLK day, so no school), when I was making coffee, I asked if he wanted to see the coffee drip. He excitedly came running down, stood there and watch the coffee dripping. Isn't it amazing how little things in life can excite a 4- year old?? =)

I miss my "peppermint mocha" creamer!! Sigh!!!
I heat my water in the microwave and add instant coffee, does Lucas want to watch his "auntie" do that??? ;>
From the coffeepot it smells better. there's not a strong aroma with the French press. Have I mentioned how good those muffins that had chocolate chips in them were??? ;>

Thanks for stopping by LA MY Home :)
I think I remembered myself doing that tik-tak-tik-tak sound effect when I was a kid too!
